All the recipes I found call for corn syrup. I can't get it. Can I subsitute it with honey or if not, what else?

are you using a mold, or do you need it to be pliable, like modelling chocolate, so that you can shape it?

Thanks, but I have no idea. I guess I'll have to do something else than a chocolate flower. Oh well!

I know in England they use Golden syrup and I have substituted Corn syrup in british recipes. Maybe there is something like this where you live.

I also just found this:
You can replace 1 cup of light corn syrup with 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water or other liquid used in the recipe. For 1 cup of dark corn syrup, you can use the following substitutions: 3/4 cup light corn syrup plus 1/4 molasses. 1 cup honey.

Thank you so much! I'm going to try this.
