I don't like raw brocolli or kugels so I would roast it with lots of garlic, steam it and eat it hot and fresh, make puréed brocolli soup with onions and zuchinni and roasted garlic or make a brocolli parmasean garlic pasta dish.

For kugel you could just use frozen.
For fresh, we love it lightly steamed and drizzled with olive oil and sea salt

Thanks! Was wondering if using it for kugel was a waste of a fresh ingredient. Then again wanted to know if maybe it gives the kugel a fresher taste.

Steam, then eat with melted cheese. My kids will take this over pizza any day. Don't waste fresh broccoli on kugel...

Roasted! You'll get that crunch that you can't get with pre frozen roasted broccoli.

I started buying the bug-free & just roasting with some onion powder, paprika & oil, sometimes a little crushed fresh garlic & ginger. But last week it was bad, could be the season is over, or maybe it was just a bad batch. Anyone else?
