Looking for restaurant/cafe suggestions (milchig or fleishig) in Brooklyn/Manhattan to take out my preteen granddaughter. Somewhere not very expensive/formal or fancy but more upscale than a typical pizza shop. Somewhere with a fun, young ambiance.....

I LOVE Carlos and Gabby's!!
On Ave J.
Mexican place, fleishigs, so fun and cozy. Delish, healthy food. Not crazy expensive.
It is my all time favorite restaurant to treat people to.

Op, I just want to say how thoughtful you are. I gave wonderful memories of going out with my grandmother for dinner. Checking out fun places says a lot about you too!
