Hi:
I am looking for some healthy low-fat creative recipes for Shabbat meals. I find myself making the same recipes over and over. I usually make breaded baked chicken and for shabbat lunch we have turkey meat loaf or chulent. My husband and son do not like roast chicken...
Thanks so much!

Are you looking for only main dishes?

What about grilled chicken salad? I would eat it both dinner and lunch 😋.
I love the duo salad from Fresh and Easy. The poppy seed dressing has a lot of sugar but can totally be replaced with a less-sweet vinaigrette.

Poached chicken is also versatile for shabbat lunch. We like making it into coronation chicken salad or Chinese chicken (with julienned cucumber, salad onion, tehina and soy based dresding) or just with pesto.
We also do lots of fresh vegetable salad (israeli, carrots, beetroot, fennel, cucumber, mushrooms, tomato).

I always just put less sugar in the poppy seed dressing comes out amazing and lighter than a mayo dressing forsure...
