froze challah dough in plastic bag. Thought defrosting in warm water would help it along faster. Carefully arranged so opening of bag is not near water. Two hours later discover bag must have been leaky. There is water in the bag and after draining it out the dough is all slimy.
Now what?!

Maybe try kneading in some extra flour?

I've had that with pizza dough, I added more flour and it totally worked. I'd assume it's the same for challah dough but not sure

no no no ... just let it rest in a bowl coated with oil while it rises - after that you can shape or knead with floured hands ...
