where can I find girls shabbos shoes at a good price (less than $50) either online or in lakewood? The stores near me have shabbos shoes for $70 and above and I need for a few girls. Thanks!

Try payless.

For young girls I get from Gap, Old Navy, HM, etc. Cheap and just good enough for yomtov and going out on shabbos. At home or when playing on the street they don't wear shabbos shoes.

I buy on amazon a lot, especially the ones that are free returns.

Look as DSW.com. They seem to have some nice, decently priced shoes. But you would have to bring whatever doesn't fit into the store to return or pay for return shipping.

zara or lands end.

if u order a few sizes from zara, its free shipping, free returns. the shoes are not always leather, but its just for one day a week and the shoes are very stylish.

u can also try lands' end. they often have sales coupons and sometimes will have nice shoes. we've found on their website on occasion as well.

I'm with Amazon. The searching isn't the most user-friendly compared to the shoe sites but the prices are generally good and the free return shipping is my #1 requirement for buying shoes online because you are NEVER going to get it right on the first try.

Pretty sure 6pm does not have free return shipping but they were bought out by amazon, sometimes when I buy shoes on amazon it ships from 6pm, so I'd say if you see something you like there then search for it on amazon.

Once I got really lucky at nordstromrack.com (free returns in stores only, but I have one reasonably close and they give you 90 days. And the bargain was that good) but I haven't had that kind of luck there since. They tend to have limited sizes so it's hit or miss.

the landsends shoes are really nice!

I usually buy zara shoes - these are a bit more expensive - how do they compare?

Just bought a few pairs from payless. They have some really nice ones in kids sizes.

I bought a few Land's End ones to try and return what doesn't work, including the two styles above-both are pretty but the T strap ones aren't sturdy at all on the sides and kind of flop open to the sides when worn, the ballet type laces were a lot firmer on the sides. Both fit true to size.

I vote for Amazon, because, as seeker said, free returns are crucial when buying shoes. I just bought new Shabbos shoes on Amazon for all my girls in a variety of styles for $25 or less. Once you narrow down what you're looking for to one department (keep selecting from list on left of screen) you can narrow down by color, size, and price, so the selection is not so overwhelming. Good luck!
