Shayna. Those recipes look yum. But are you sure there is no potato starch in them?

I made this marble cake today and it was very good and easy. I think I got it on imamother.
It had to bake longer then the directions specified.

Marble Cake

6 eggs
2 cup sugar
1 cup oil
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cup potato starch

1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the chocolate syrup. Pour 2/3 into 9x13. Add chocolate syrup to remainder. Pour chocolate mixture on top of cake and marbelize. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted is dry.

Wow, I was just about to post this. I just made this today (and added chocolate chips.)

I also made this today:

Yes, they are brownies, but the batter tasted delicious.

I have started making the dessert recipes from this website in the last months for health reasons, and if you can find the ingredients for Pesach, they are great recipes to try.

Marble Cake

8 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup+2 Tbs. potato starch
2 oz. baking chocolate

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Beat eggs and sugar on high speed for 15 min. add potato starch beat on the lowest speed til mixed in.

pour 3/4 of batter into 9x13 greased pan

Melt chocolate and add to remaining 1/4 batter.

Spoon chocolate batter over batter in pan and swirl with a knife

Bake 50-55 min.

I made two Marble Cakes from this thread just now. One with separating and this one without separating. This one is way more fluffy. Not sure why , the Marble Cake Recipe w separating "8 eggs separated (I only separate 6) ,1 cup sugar" ...... fell, its very low. It tastes good though, but separating didnt make the cake any better. Im thinking of trying the not separating recipe with variations- not marble. Soooo easy. One bowl, no folding!

The first recipe Marble Cake looks and tastes great.
