My DH and I would love to move out of town. I was wondering if anyone knows of anything that is available in a oot community in Pre-1-a (Kindergarten-5-6 yr old) thru 4th grade. Please also include about the community so we can get a small sense of it.

Call Torah Umesorah. I think they're having a convention soon, there should be people there doing placement, interviews, etc. If you're in Lakewood, I think Rabbis Levitansky and Mitnick do placement. Hatzlacha!

I live in NY and and grew up oot and have sibs oot. In the ny area there is a gross misconception that if u want a chinuch job go oot its easier. Most oot cities like cleveland detroit chicago minneapolis etc have their own kollels and when a chinuch position opens in the city their local kollel guys usually get first dibs and grab it. Im not saying its not possible to get a chinuch job oot but the idea that its easier to get than east coast is just wrong.
