I had a baby before Pesach and my older kids went away for a few days. Because of the difficult timing I feel more obligated to give them something as a sign of appreciation, but I don't have enough money to spend a lot for each of these people, so I'm looking for an idea that will make an impression but not cost much.

A nice house plant such as an orchid plant or something like that...I love plants and flowers with a handwritten thank you note

I very much appreciated getting a children's book that was appropriate for several age groups. There's a big selection and price range of those.

Not sure how much time you have but something affordable and nice could be homemade chocolate truffles, chocolate covered strawberries or pretzels and marshamallows, homemade dips and challah for Shabbat, an offer to watch their kids for a night while they go out to coffee or ice cream ( and give them a gift card to the cafe for coffee),
