I am looking to make a gown for my siblings wedding, and it has to be a very specific color. Is there anywhere that you can go and try on gowns and then they can make it for you in a specific color? Tzanu'a? in the New York area? Are there frum places like this that anyone has ever used successfully? Any help would be very much appreciated!!

I got mine for my brothers wedding at David's Bridal. It was actually a sleeveless gown and I bought a matching shell.
If that is not an option for you, they also build up the gown for you by adding material by the neckline, sleeves, etc. But that is obviously more costly.

Many upper end bridal shops will have satin gowns that they will custom dye to match a fabric swatch that you bring in. You can get matching shoes and an evening bag, too.
