Hey everyone,
I'm wondering what people think is the best time of year for a child to be born? Specifically in regards to schooling.. Being youngest vs oldest of class, boys vs girls, etc.
My husband is convinced that August-September time is ideal because then they will be among the oldest in their class, meaning they will be more mature and therefore more successful. Thoughts?

Depends where you live, in Brooklyn August/September children would be of the youngest in the class. December/January are the older ones.

My two oldest were born in June and that was perfect when it came to the cut off in NY, then my next one was born in October and we had to decide which grade to put him in. Then we moved to South America and the cut off is in June. In conclusion, as far as schooling is concerned, it depends on where you live.
As far as weather, for me Spring.
