He rips my heart out sometimes. Sometimes I think its my fault. Like im not parenting him properly. I really dont know what to do. Just had to let that out.

I know what that feels like  Sometimes the oldests give their moms the hardest time and mom's feelings of inadequacy overwhelm and trigger mother's guilt.

Been there and done that.
I had a private party (me myself and I) when he turned 18 and will have another when he turns 21. I am in one piece to tell the tale.
How old is he?
All I could say is hang in there they do grow up.
I also kept thinking it was my fault but he was difficult from day one.

He is 7. And im probably making him sound worse then he is. Now I feel bad.😐

Some kids make parents feel inadequate and some make parents feel like their amazing and it takes no energy.
I have a son who makes me feel like that  there are days, I can't believe he's my son, hurts a lot...
