I have a general ed and special ed degree. I like learning for the sake of learning so I want to complete another degree. I've debated doing a phd but I dont think that is something I could do without compromising my children's happiness. Perhaps when they are older. I don't want to be a classroom teacher for the rest of my career. Trying to figure out what degree to complete next. Ideally I would like to complete a degree that will lead to a higher salary.

BCBA is worth it if you think you have the aptitude for that type of work. Do you have any ABA experience at all to get some idea of what the BCBA's role involves? If you are in a job that you would be able to use for the required experience then it should be doable without compromising your family too much, though it is a pretty big deal overall.
