Can you wear them for shabbos if they are a more dressy pair, or does the material at the bottom automatically make them weekday?

I don't know about the middle link but the navy ones are really pretty and yes definitely can be dressed up.

They are all very nice.
The last one - the sole may be a problem. I bought a similar pair last year and the shoe was not water proof. When it got we the bottom became sticky.
The top 2 had a much better sole.

I'd definitely wear on shabbos, but not to a simcha (kiddush, vort etc)

I agree...
If I was spending $800 on a pair of shoes id purchase a pair of heels for weddings or similar occasions.
But I gather that the women who buy these shoes have multiple pairs of shoes in that price range and can afford it easily.
I would never want $800 espadrilles because I'd ruin them fairly quickly Very Happy

I love wearing espadrilles, even on shabbos. I try not to spend too much on them since they don't last me (even the expensive ones). Also, be sure never to wear them in the rain.
