I am trying to lose about forty pounds. I am working on tracking my calorie and nutritional intake, plus exercising more. I feel like I want something that will make it work a little faster, or at least make it a bit easier by suppressing my huge appetite.
I've always known to steer clear from diet supplements, but now I'm again turning my attention to them. Online research is showing me that some brands are more effective and/or not with bad side effects as others, but I'm not sure whom or what to trust. I'm waiting for a call back from my doctor, but am posting here for now.
I'd like to hear from those who have actually taken supplements, or heard personal experiences from friends or family who have taken supplements. Which ones worked, which ones didn't, what were some side effects, what were the long term effects, am I ruining my body, etc?
