I don't understand why Jews feel the need to make a spectacle out of themselves, especially in countries where we are not exactly welcomed with open arms.
(ETA: I don't mean to pick on you, OP, this bothers me every time I see the Uman-type clips)

I'm with mommyla on this one! Sometime we think we need to make a scene wherever we go.

Don't worry I don't feel picked on- but I guess your right I am probably more used to this kinda thing so it doesn't embarrass me. I live in Israel and recently one of my family members married into a Breslov family so I am used to the dancing.
It all used to be pretty foreign to me but I have come to appreciate it because some of the Breslovers I know are truly happy people. and I have seen them in some pretty tough times.
But this was the first time that I saw a bunch of American balabatim catch on fire . I laughed with joy throughout the clip....

No matter where in the world it is, I would wait until getting thru security before celebrating ...

I love this clip -- too bad if the Eastern Europeans don't like it, they are having a great time and proud to be Jewish. Good!

BTW, the clip is mislabeled, it's in Casablanca, Morocco.
