I have a very neutral revere pewter in my hallways.
Kitchen colors match my cabinets.
Family room is nice green/blue.
Can't decide about my dining room. Any ideas?

My neutral color is leaning towards gray, and family room is a cool color. I don't think yellow would work well with it .

If they're open rooms then you shoud use the ssame color maybe in a slightly darker or lighter shade. If they''re separated rooms, you can do what you want.

I love Revere Pewter!
Did you want darker or lighter for your dining room?
You can try Balboa Mist, it's similar to revere pewter just lighter.

I have Benjamin Moore Quiet Moments. It's a greenish-gray depending on the lighting. Very neutral and formal but not gray (the adjoining rooms are Stonington Gray).

Yes I think revere pewter is great! I did want something slightly different for the dining room. Balboa most is nice too. Maybe I'll do that...

It's not open but it is adjoining rooms. I would like to see it flow nicely one to the other.

with the living room being green & the hallway revere pewter [aka light grey] ~ I believe two shades darker grey would be nice cause it would blend with both ... [one shade you wouldn't notice the difference]

I am gathering you've thought about the green in both rooms and decided not to - was there a reason - are they open or closed in between ?

I like your suggestion except that the room has is pretty much enclosed with two windows at one end. I can't go dark.
The family room being more bluish than greenish has a color too informal for the dining room
