The recipe ingredients look strange (Italian dressing in teriyaki chicken???) but it's super quick to make so I want to make it for dinner tomorrow night. Has anyone tried it? How did it come out?

I didn't like it, the Italian dressing does not make sense to me. Nobody ate it in my family.

Is it the one with orzo or rice or something like that? My family loves it. and I love how easy it is.

I didn't like it. It seems like there are mixed reviews here.

We really like it in our house. My husband gets really excited when I make it and he and my kids eat it all up!

I made it a while ago and hated it, literally couldn't eat it.

Funny, it's almost 50-50 between those who hate and Rhodes who loved it.
I think I'll skip it. I'll just make a chicken broccoli slaw stir fry with soy sauce and maybe honey, and eat it with rice that I'll cook separately.
It's not worth risking a dinner headed for the garbage.
Thanks!

We loved it! I used orzo and didn't have Italian dressing so just mixed some oil vinegar garlic powder onion powder pepper sugar and salt and used that instead

We love it!!! I know the dressing seems weird but try it. Its so good. A few changesnI've made - I add additional water and replace the orzo with fettuccine pasta. It makes a big difference, I dont know why.

I want to make it - but the cooking time for the Orzo seems quick. It basically sounds like the Orzo cooks up in 10 minutes. I thought Orzo takes like a half hour to cook?

Ronzoni pasta orzo takes about 11 minutes to cook.
The heimish egg noodle orzo takes longer, about 25 minutes.

I made it tonight. The cooking time was off - I had to cook it for about 25 minutes (thanks ra_mom you were right!) but the combination of flavors was great. My kids gobbled it up. I had to triple the recipe, and I added about half a cup of apricot jam to the sauce to make it a drop sweeter, but it was awesome.
