I have a major meeting tomorrow at work with the boss. Asking for what basically is a promotion. I have my talking points written out, now I need to become good at expressing them. Very critical meeting.
Any tips? Words of encouragement?
Freaking out here as I don't do assertive meetings with the boss well...

Can you role act with your spouse or a friend. I had a similar situation and I did that and I found it to be enormously helpful in the real meeting. Writing out talking points is great but even better is actually speaking in a role play situation.
