My toddler got into soaps and lotions and got them all over. Including clothing, stuffed animals and the carpet. Gross!
What can I do to get the wet sticky mess up? I soaked his pants in detergent but it isn't coming off.
Desperate here!

pour a ton of baking soda making sure it gets into the crevices ... leave it for a while to absorb the oils & lotions ... and then vacuum it up ...

Baking soda is non toxic (people cook with it) and shouldn't stain. I think the baking soda is a good idea.
