How can I help my 5yo ds? He is totally impulsive and accident prone. He gets hurt a lot because of it. We talk a lot about safety awareness, which he understands, and is in physical/occupational therapy for body awareness. He needed stitches yesterday. I'm worried if he doesn't start being more careful he'll end up in the ER. How can I help him to chill out and THINK before he does something dangerous? I let him be active to get out as much energy as possible, but even getting from place to place is daunting.
