Hi, I'm looking for the following in Lakewood, nothing fancy or expensive, just good quality work and times.

- kitchen remodel, need to add some cabinets and appliances to the existing "non-kosher" kitchen

- paint the house, no fancy moldings etc but not poor quality job

- remove carpets and either fix up wooden floor that might be underneath, or put in laminate.

- add on some fencing (without encroaching on neighboring properties:))

Thanks a looot in advance!

Except for the fencing, my sister recently hired Mr. Eliezer Naftali for all of the above in her new home. She was very pleased with the job.

Chayalle, if I understand correctly he then must be a handyman.

I don't assume he sells kitchens, or does he?

For fencing - you first have to go down and get a permit for a fence and also need Deed ? that shows boundary lines before continuing.

He's a contractor. I think she got the actual cabinets thru Express Kitchen and Bath, and then he did the installation and work.

You can pm me for a handyman I'm using in Lakewood right now
I also am painting and doing hardwood floors and I'd give you their contact info privately.

Do they install it or do you need your own contractor?

if you have hard wood floors underneath ... it's a tedious job - but quite worth the effort to rip the carpet out & sand the floors ... I've done this work myself and it's an amazing difference

as for painting - if your walls are smooth it's always a quick fix

what's your deadline ?

pm me for an idea ...

Regarding flooring I also say go to step on me. They are a pleasure to deal with.
For good installation and cheaper line of kitchens try Pro Cabinetry. They have nice things for great prices.
If you have hardwood and need to scrape and stain you can try supreme flooring. I was super impressed with theit service.
Fencing I don't know personally but have friends that used nojo fencing and were happy.

We also used NOJO and were very happy (fence is now over 8 years old) but they aren't cheap. It is probably worth it to price it around.

Hire a decorator - they have experience and can navigate you through the process. Even if thye don't pick everything for you sit down for an hour and get ideas of whom to go to.
