Hi Everyone,
Recently my cakes are not coming out smoothly from my bundt pans. (even with flour). My mother in law suggested I season it with an oil to give it a coating.

has anyone does this and knows how to go about doing it ?

Thanks !

cooking spray works better than oil...there are some cooking sprays that have flour in it too, so it does both the oil and flour coverage

Pam with flour, and a ton of it. Like so much that it grosses you out to look at it. That's the only thing that works for me!

As others have posted, you need to spray - preferably with a spray that contains flour. You can also dust with cocoa if the cake is dark so you don't have white streaks.

There are so man beautiful designs in Bundt pans that it might be fun to get a new one anyway.

This.
Sometimes the pan gets scratched or the non stick coating wears off, an the cake doesn't come out as well anymore
