Think I can leave my toaster oven on for all of shabbos/yom tov? anyone do it before? what about with a timer? thanks!

Yes to leaving it on with a timer for a few hours when you'll be around to make sure everything is ok. No way to leaving it running for three days straight and overnight.

Any small appliance like toaster ovens, George Forman... Are not made to leave on for long periods of time. They will either break or go up in flames.

I've only done it for Max two hours set on a timer to go on for two hours and then off and I watched it like a hawk

They're just not made to be left on for long periods of time. Toaster ovens don't have insulation. Sounds really dangerous. Use a timer and stay nearby.

I don't think there's any toaster oven that will remain on for more than 2 hours or so. If you have a toaster oven that doesn't have auto shutoff, you should not be using it.
