If you don't have a glass dish to bake it in and don't want to put foil on the table? Is there a 'better looking' way to bake it? Some kind of disposable non-foil pan you can buy?

Maybe cut it up and put it on a platter?
Or serve individual?

They do make paper disposable bakeware. I have also seen a kind of tray that you put the foil pan into, to make it look a little nicer. Neither is really nice-looking, Imo, but maybe better than plain foil. They are available in paper goods stores in Israel. I have no idea if they are available outside Israel.

Thanks! I was thinking of making stuffed cannelloni then... individual ones with tomato sauce drizzled over, that way I can spoon them out onto a serving dish...

Maybe buy 2 Pyrex in color so you don't get confused with the meat one.
I have them in blue.
Problem solved.

Thanks for all the ideas!

So I have a new question... how do you reheat lasagna (or similar) on a plata?

Another option is lasagna roll ups. Then just serve on a nice plate or dish.

If you only have disposible 9x13s. You can make a seprate buffet table (or buffet counter) with chaffing dishes. Your food stays warm and you can leave it in a 9x13 Smile

It's tiny. Too small for lasagna.

over a double makeshift boiler (pan of boiling water underneath your pan of lasagna).

Will the top cheese melt or stay hard and dry? Should I only cook it with sauce on top and then add cheese fresh? Covered or uncovered? Thanks ra_mom!

I'm so sorry, I was sure I answered this question! I must have not hit the submit button properly after I typed.
Top will melt as long as you leave it until the whole lasagna gets really hot. And if top has been baked until crispy then that won't melt but will still be good (same as it wouldn't melt in the oven when reheating a crispy top).
If you want gooey cheese on top, add cheese to top of lasagna once it is steaming hot, cover back up with foil and allow the heat to melt the cheese.
Reheat covered.
