I bought gift cards for my dc's teachers. Am I supposed to take the packaging off before I give them? It's very pretty packaging and it has a place to write who it's for and from and how much money it has on it, but it also says the activation fee and to make sure to give the enclosed terms and conditions with the card.
Amother because I feel a bit stupid for asking this.

Yes. Keep the packinging. Are you able to somehow cover the activation fee?
Or else take out of packing and put in a nice card. They have cards that have spots for gift cards. Or make your own! It's cute when you connect the store. Like 'thanks for keeping me on target' for a target card. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/.....4190/

Do you mean the activation fee or the amount that you put on the gift card? I've seen cards that you choose how much to put on it when you buy, and if that's the case, absolutely leave it one. It's really frustrating to get a gift card and not know how much money is there!
