Hi--I'm posting my question in a second section since my dd is making me a bit crazy. We live in PA and don't know either bakery. Have you tasted cakes from these bakeries? How were they?

I love Chantilly cakes. I noticed that the professional caterers near me use Chantilly cakes exclusively, as I can tell from the pile of empty Chantilly boxes near the shul each week.

Perhaps you can request a sample from each place. I'm assuming they also have petit fours and other small cakes that you can buy/sample.

We've used Chantilly for cakes and miniatures for Simchas for decades with great results.
There were actually some delicous commercially packaged gluten free baked goods for sale at the supermarket from Chantilly over Pesach as well.
