I bought a wig and hair was falling out. They told me that they will glue the whisks ( or something) back? Would that be enough or do they have to sew?

I don't make sheitels but I can tell you from experience - this is almost 7 years ago.
I bought a sheitel.
It knotted really bad.
They fixed it and it stopped knotting.
Then hair started falling out.
The fixed it, I never had an issue again with hair falling out.
Then it knotted
They fixed it
And then it knotted really really really bad.
The person who sold it to me took it back and let me pick a new wig.
The manufacturer of the wig called me and yelled at me - they said there was glue in the wig and that was causing the hair to clump. I'm guessing it happened when they fixed the hair from falling out. If they do fix it with glue be very very vigilant about knotting and clumping because it can happen if the gluing is done wrong.
b'h I was lucky I bought it from someone who took it back, after talking to the manufacturer I don't think they ever would have.
I don't think sewing works because they can't sew the hair back into the wefts, they have to be tied - I think that is how I understand it.
