How was the experience? Was the plane full or not? Was the kosher meal good? Was there Jewish and Hebrew music on the inflight entertainment?

I don't know, having never flown with them. But I think that's expecting a bit much.

My husband flew with them in the winter and had a very pleasant experience.
I do not think it has Hebrew music as it is not a jewish airline.
Also, kosher food needs to be requested.

BTW Israel enjoys a very warm relationship with Azerbaijan, that includes a formal strategic and economic aspect.
No, that doesn't mean that there will be Hebrew/Jewish music on the flight but still, it's nice to know that your money isn't going to the airline of an antagonistic state.

I recently traveled with them. The flight from Ny to Baku was very pleasant, on a Dreamliner, food was really good, though need to reserve that in advance, they served 3 meals and we were treated almost like first class, we got those kits with moisturizers, toothbrush, socks...they kept coming around with the moist towelettes and the crew had a great attitude, as I hear that can be an issue on other airlines. The layover in Baku is 2 hours and it is an absolutely beautiful airport. The 3 hour leg from Baku to tel aviv was on an old plane and the food not as good. On the way back they will make you go through security twice, I guess to prove to ny that they have great security. Also the flight back feels incredibly long, as Azerbajain is 3 hours further than Israel plus the 2 hour layover and the 11+hour return flight to ny
