I'm looking for conventional tuna salad for sandwiches. Some take out places make it really good though.

The ones I have tasted from take out places I didn't really like but Dh loves it and I tried duplicating it once by adding a bit of sugar and viniger to it, in addition to the mayo and spices. He loved it.

This is more of a salad but delicious too!
Take a can of tuna and cube all vegies (curbies, peppers, pickles, tomatoes)and eggs.
add:
Mayo, garlic powder, black pepper, salt to taste and a little splenda/sugar, and some of the juice from the can of pickles.
Mix together and serve!
Enjoy!

Here's how I make it:

I mix tuna, light mayo, and a couple of hard boiled eggs in the food processor. Then I change the blade to the shredding blade and shred a small carrot into the mixture. Then I transfer the tuna to a bowl and add fresh squeezed lemon juice, sliced scallions, & if I have some in the house, some chopped fresh parsley. It's a lot better than just mashing up some tuna with mayo!

I like to finely chop apples and celery for a 'waldorf-esque' tuna salad, the dressing is mayo, lemon juice (or vinegar), a pinch of sugar, papper, onion powder adn garlic powder

Real YUM!
