I bought an Adrianna Papell plus size long dress/gown from Macys.com. Came out to about $200. Really love it.

Someone is in the midst of creating a gemach for plus sized women in Lakewood. I don't know if she's open yet. If you haven't seen her ads I can try to find one - look out in the BP graphics or Voice.

I got my gown at Unique Boutique.

I have seen some nice Alex Evenings tops on ebay. I think you could also find a skirt there or buy one in a store.

I did very well (under $100) with a black beaded Laurence kazar jacket on ebay and a black maxi skirt that I purchased in a Jewish store. Another company that also sells that kind of jacket is Cervelle- check out both on ebay

You can try Dillard's online: http://www.dillards.com/c/wome.....bride

They have plenty of plus-size dresses. (I am plus-size.) Some of their styles are tzniusdik, and others can be worn with a shell and will be tzniusdik.

I live near a Dillard's so I bought my grandmother-of-the-groom dress there in person (a plus-size full-length dress with a jacket - but I have to wear a shell with it), but if you're comfortable buying online, check out their website. From the experience I had in the store, their customer service is pretty decent.

There is a rental in lakewood that has plus size gowns. I don't know the name and number but I know that when I was pursuing a gown in brooklyn, people encouraged me to check out lakewood. I ended up getting in brooklyn but paid way more than I wanted. however, it was convenient for me so I stayed in brooklyn. ask around in lakewood because it definitely exists, I'm sorry I can't be more helpful than that.
also, it may be worth it to buy in a department store. I think there's more of a selection than when I needed a gown, otherwise I would have totally gone the online route. some that I like:
