I'm thinking of buying a hand tied wig to be more comfortable when my fibromyalgia (and other health issues) flare up. (I need a new one anyhow, just trying to figure out what type to buy)
I've been hearing mixed things. Some ppl say the hair knots, falls out easily, or comes thru the cap, & stay far away.
Other people say they're so light and the best thing ever.
I don't want to invest in one and have issues with it, but a regular wig is just so uncomfortable these days.
Does anyone have personal experience, and what is a good brand to try?
If not a hand tied, what is a super lightweight, unprocessed comfortable one to go with?
Thanks so much!

I had two at a point but every shaitel macher told me after that they do not recommend it. I personally found my other wigs much more comfortable.

Thank you for replying, cnc!
Which ones were so comfortable? I have a miri that I used to love, but even that lately is too much.

Esther Aron and Milano pony are my favorites. I literally feel like nothing is on my head.
I also have a Bella and Irene which are relatively comfortable compared to my hand tied Shevys.

There's a website called Shaytell that I just saw, where women upload reviews of various wigs, organized by brand. Just another resource to help you!

They are usually very comfortable. But they don't last as long as machine made wigs. The knots open & hair falls out. Sometimes the hair comes through the net.

Love the shaytell idea! Pity they didn't have the brand I was looking into for hand tied.
Debbig, that's what I heard too.
Thanks everyone!
