My dh wears short sleeve white and they get black and dirty from his work
anyone knows what would work good to clean?? I live in England I have tried vanish,shout didn't help at all

unless his uniform is a white shirt he should switch colours
use bleach and/or baking soda with some detergent & a little elbow grease

I wet the area - put the baking soda on with soap & scrub ... same with bleach pour it on with soap & scrub ... only when I see the stains gone do I throw it in the wash for a regular cycle
some stains will never come out ... think ink, paint, tar, etc.
