Too make a long story short, I was planning to open a home based childrens boutique for the coming fall/winter season. I was planning to be based in the home of a close relative that lives on my block and have a website as well. This relative of mine is going through a messy divorce and custody battle now and it looks like their home will no longer be an option. This happened quite suddenly and quickly. At this point I'm not ready to move to a storefront for various reasons and I can't find a rental nearby. I already placed orders with a couple of companies for approximately $25,000-30,000 worth of inventory that I'm afraid I'll be stuck with. I could try to back out but once I gave my word I'll be obligated to pay up in full if the company insists. My question is if there's anyone hat would be interested in purchasing it from me at cost price and starting this business. I did a lot of research and have a lot more info to share to anyone that's willing to purchase the inventory from me.

What did you end up doing with all of it?
I have my own bussiness for childrens clothing as well and am looking to sell my leftover inventory from the past season.
Any leads… since you have experience was wondering maybe you can help me!

Designer Spot? They are definitely still around in Monsey and Lakewood. In Brookkyn, I think they moved locations.

There was a sign up that they're doing major renovations and that their baby layettes could be bought at Clover in the meantime.

The Brooklyn store was doing renovations. Monsey, now called sage is open I believe.
