Opportunity for someone who wants to be a Doula

I am due with my second child be"H at the end of July and plan to deliver at New York Columbia-Presbyterian. I am looking for an attendant at birth.

With my last birth, a friend who was an uncertified doula came and helped out. Labor was on the shorter end, very straightforward and BH did not involve medical intervention, but I did have physical needs--small things like hand squeezing, back rubbing, helping to switch positions--which changed every few minutes and the physical help of a constant female presence was a real game-changer. I don't know how I'd do it without someone at hand!

I am looking to pay $200-$300 dollars, negotiable, depending on experience and when/how long labor lasts for.

Certification is not necessary, but I'd like someone who has attended at least one or two births before and doesn't have fear of what to expect. Perhaps someone who is looking to break into the field and wants some experience? Obviously it would have to be someone who intends to be local during the middle of the summer.

I would love to do this, theoretically
I have kids though and I'm not flexible time-wise. Also, I only ever attended my own kids births
oh well!
