Does anyone know of a service in the Brooklyn area,
where I could pay men to just move a heavy piece of furniture from one room to another?

Don't live in ny but I had to do that recently and I just called a few moving companies and got a few quotes. Then I hired someone based on price/availability and had it done. Depending on who they might charge for the job or charge per hour.
