We are thinking of moving to L.A. and we would like to speak to current parents in these two schools. Does anyone mind posting so I can pm you? Thanks!

Toras Emes is more diverse. Some minority watch movies etc. the Cheder very strict and no movies or secular music at all. More chasidic and the boys learn in Yiddish. And also less secular studies. The Cheder is very small. Toras Emes is the biggest frum school in la.

I went to Bais Tzivia (girls cheder), but I graduated 8th grade a good 15+ years ago, so I don't think my input would be so helpful?

Yes, Toras Emes is more diverse and much bigger. Bais Tzivia has stricter tznius rules (ex. tights rather than knee socks).

Toras Emes is much larger. Neither school has decent academics.
