I will be going to lake george for overnight trip (2 days) with dh. no kids. which attractions did you enjoy? looking more for outdoor activities. no amusement parks.

Shelving Rock Falls (a hike) is one of my favorite places. It's not nearly as breathtaking as Ausable Chasm, but it is a beautiful hike and one I really enjoyed.
An easier hike is Prospect Mountain- but that's because it's a scenic drive up a mountain  Gorgeous views, but you might have to pay, I don't remember.
It's definitely a must to get out on the lake, preferably by yourselves. It's really enchanting to stop off (or pass by) the little islands in the middle, and see the mountains towering above you on either side.
I love Lake George. Enjoy your time there!

We hiked up Prospect Mountain. It was not easy for me
You can go on the Minnehaha which is a nice hour boat ride
You can make a candle

Rent a speed boat for 2-4 hours; some places will include tubes or skis. There's an amazing ropes course with zip lines there, cheaper if you go early morning or late afternoon.
