Anyone have a washing station in their dining room? Would u be able to share pics. We are doing a home remodel and my husband wants a washing station in the dining room but I am having a hard time visualizing a sink or a vanity sitting elegantly in a dining room

How about a washing station outside the closest bathroom? We have a bathroom off the dining room. Then a small vestibule like space where the washing sink is.

Google search sink in dining room and look at the images to get ideas
Think of it more like a bar sink with extra counter space to put bottles of wine or glasses etc.

It shouldn't be in the dining room - it should be off to the side.

I have seen this with upscale decorative fixtures.

You make it look like a wine bar area or a butler's pantry space. You don't just literally plop a sink in your dining room. There has to be some sort of cabinetry/buffet.

We've been guests at the home of friends who have a little sink in their dining room, and we thought it was perfectly nice. It wasn't camouflaged as something else. It was just there, this little sink on the side of the room. My husband agrees that it looked perfectly fine there.

I have a friend with a corner sink. I has cabinetry under it, and a glass shelf above. I have another friend who has one recessed, sort of like the above picture but without the bookcases. Though I like the idea of having it with a breakfront/display shelves.

If you don't like the way it looks, can't you put doors to close it off? Nice looking ones of course that goes with your decor.
