My favorite antique shopping has been in Antique Malls with many dealers under one roof, like in Saugerties, upstate, but thats far from NYC (2-3 hour drive). Or Antique strips, with many Antique shops on one block. Or Auction houses that have weekly auctions.
Im looking for areas that are within an hour or hour and a half from NYC. Preferably paces that sell quality semi-antique furniture (not that old and valuable, so its affordable).
Can anyone recommend their favorite places?

I believe there should be some places in Nyack and Suffern, but I don't know if you'd find then clustered together like a mall.
Maybe Google these areas to see what's available?
