I need to send money to a friend in Israel. She says she banks with an Israeli bank that can't accept American checks. My friend is not very sophisticated. I'm thinking there is a simple answer as to how to cash an American check in Israel. Any advice please? Thank you.

When my husband used an Israeli supplier for mezuzos he needed he used western union.

People can use money changers but you use a percentage and it is inconvenient. Paypal might be easier.
