Machon High School, about how many girls are in the 9th grade this year? How many parallel classes?

Does Machon have an anti-internet rule? Like are the students permitted to do online research for homework assignments?

Wow. Is that true for all grades? When I was there they had it alternating grades with three and four classes. So it would be like ninth grade four classes, tenth grade three classes, eleventh grade four, twelfth three.

How long has it been like that?

Anon because I don't want people to figure out who I am.

LOL If there were 14 classes of girls with 30 girls each, how would your admitting to being ONE of the over 400 girls identify yourself?

I'm another one from that era of Machon. Now, who am I?

Boro Park is now very Chassidish, so Machon has less girls from BP, but when Machon had a good name, they had loads of Flatbush and Queens girls coming. These days most schools are busting from demand. What ruined it for Machon?

Because I think I have written enough identifying details about myself that this is another big clue if you know me in real life. And I know there are people from my time there on Imamother.

But it is funny when you put it that way! Very Happy

it didn't happen overnight. It went to 2 and then 1. A lot of nasty rumors were started about it as well as new schools taking away potential students, change in administration, and staying the same (not changing with the times enough).

Actually this has caught my attention as a possibility for my dd. Does anyone know what kind of girls/families go there? What is the general relationship the faculty has with the students? Lastly, how much can they help with tuition? Oh yes, one more detail, do they have classes on sundays? Thanks!
