I'm torn between the two.
I'm looking for a knowledgeable practice where I can get appointments for a sick child the same day.
I also want someone a little natural minded who doesn't run to antibiotics immediately.
(I know Dr. gittleman is closed to new patients but we can get in for various reasons.)
I know Dr. Gittleman is excellent, but his is a large practice so there's no telling when I'll even be able to see him.
I hear Westpark is friendly, smaller and a nice waiting room etc.
Can anyone weigh in on this for me?
I am a first time mom and have many questions for the doctor when it comes to my child.

I don't know about west park but I would highly recommend Dr Gittelman's practice.
Very happy there and 100% would recommend if you have the opportunity to get in.
for well visits-if you would like to specifically see a certain dr/drs you need to schedule well in advance.
for sick visits- I was always able to get for the same day.

And sourstix, I imagine if Westpark has an office in Lakewood, they are not anti Semitic.

I use West park Pediatrics and schedule most well visits with dr setton.
Never felt the anti semitism.
Dr setton is great - calm patient answers all questions.. If you want a well visit with her you need to schedule way in advance and many times soon as they get her schedule for next few months it fills up real fast. So you need to be flexible with day/timing....
For a sick it's almost always the same day but you can't be choosey as to which doctor you're getting. (Though if your really concerned..... You could ask where dr whoever is that day and insist on an appointment with them and go to that office)
I'm happy with the practice.
