My kids don't have dental insurance, I will be paying out of pocket. DC7 has sensory issues and needs a checkup and probably a filling. Any recommendations of dentists who are good with kids and will work with me with no insurance?

I also don't have dental insurance. I use Dr Semah, brick pediatric. He's great with kids, and never pushed me to do unnecessary work because I have to pay out of pocket.

Very happy with, as a dentist and a person.

Not sure about current insurance situation, you should call the office and check whether he or the other dentist in his office currently accepts it, which specific plan (for ex, United or horizon) and if they take new patients.

Another very very happy patient of Dr. Semah. My 5 yr old is highly sensory and she had 2 cavities filled by him without Novocain or even laughing gas. When we walked out, she said, "can we go to the dentist more times?" He is really amazing!

I don't have dental but I bought the UHP plan (look in lkwd directory) which is around $200 a year for the family iirc, and with it the costs are slashed very much for dental work.

dr. bressler accepts the UHP. may be others as well. he is great with the kids.
