My daughter is iyH getting married and we are looking for wedding halls in Brooklyn. We are planning on having around 300 guests and would prefer for the hall to not be in the basement. We loved the Renaissance Ballroom but unfortunately it is closing. Are there any halls that are similar?

Thanks so much

I'm pretty sure the minimum at Chynka is more than 300. Is El Caribe still around?

Torah Vyira is a smaller hall on Fort Hamilton parkway but it is a basement.

Try looking in Williamsburg but I am not sure if the halls there are small enough.

Do you only want borough park? Would you go to Flatbush or Manhattan beach? There are several halls in both areas

Shaare Zion on ocean parkway is beautiful, I don't think it's a basement.

I was at Manhattan Beach Jewish Center several years ago (before Sandy). The catering was Delicious and beautifully plated but the place was a bit old fashioned. It looks like they redid it and it looks beautiful.

When is the wedding? I read that the Renaissance isn't closing until next April.
