I have a cd player that plays cd's well
when I connect my mp3 to the cd player with an aux cable, it plays very softly and I can barely hear it.
does anyone know if this is something specific to the aux mode or maybe my cd player is cheaper so it doesn't accommodate an mp3 well?
I really would like to use my mp3 on the cd player because it is a lot easier than handling cd's
Thanks

Have you tried raising the volume on the MP3 player?

Make sure the plug is in all the way, and turn the volume up high on your MP3 player. That usually helps.
