Echinuch has a list
You have to create a user id but it's free
Also try some Christian family sites

I'm pretty sure the chinuch site has a lot of adult classical novels as well and teen books.

If you want to look up,specific books, use Amazon as they have synopses and reviews which should be adequate to,judge a book. Also try goodreads but reviews ar less extensive.
I always check Amazon to get a sense of what I wa t to read next as well as reviews from sources I trust.
You could also email publishers .

try googling the name and author of each book, usually sparknotes or a similar websit will come up and it will give you a summary of the book. You can often tell from that whether or not it's worth even checking the book out. that's a start....

Common sense media is great for books and movies. Doesn't have every book and movie but much, much more comprehensive than the echinuch list. Has different categories of potential problems...like "s-xy stuff", "language" and "violence" and will give you details.

it doesnt say if its extremely graphic though..
I love to read and the graphic sx scenes are really making me nervous, because I dont want to continue reading and im in the middle of a plot!
im a book worm, I took a break frm reading and started reading again full force, till now it wasnt really secular books... I have 7 books out frm library and when I look up reviews I dont see ppl reviewing how "racy" it is
