Could anyone help me evaluate if a kriah course will be worth it for my daughter? She heard of one that uses the Orton Gillingham approach that's starting soon. I asked a friend who's a kriah tutor but she took her first course years ago. She's taken some others since then but doesn't have an opinion, just advised making sure it covers meat and potatoes and not too much extra stuff that she could pick up elsewhere like games, etc. TIA!!!

multisensory kriah/kesiva by rifky katz is the best!
teaches everything you need to know to be an excellent kriah morah.

How long a program is it?
What features did you find especially helpful? I'd love any and all elaboration you could offer!

It is given in the summer and maybe other times. It is an intense8 day course that goes through a very specific procedure for teaching kriah and kesivah based on ortan gillingham/ LIPS, etc. It is hands on where you are practicing as you learn so that you are comfortable with the method. There is homework and studying involved as well.

The Kriative Solutions course by Brocha Kresch is filled with the "meat and potatoes" of Kriah. She crams loads of essential content into a 2 day intense course during the summer. I'm not sure if she has already given it this year or not.

Anyone care to share how much these courses cost?
I'm already well-trained in English reading and familiar enough with Hebrew reading to feel comfortable teaching it, but wouldn't mind learning if there are specialized techniques that work especially well with Hebrew.

Brocha Kresch's course was ~$600 when I took it.
Rivky Katz's was ~$1200

Google kriah master, they have online program, based off of orton Gillingham.
Rivky katz class is great too, and she allows you to come following year for free, to listen in.
