I want to shop for my daughter and I dont even know what I like. she is 2.3 yrs old. And I know I shouldnt make a big deal. but I simply dont know what to get her. I love colors. I dont mind black. but I am so confused by whats out there. I just went to a store today. I wouldnt shop there because of their prices. but I dont even know what I like. and whats appropriate for a kid at this age. I noticed so many different styles. I would use a hoodie but I wont get only that so how can I figure out what I like?

Pinterest is a great way to keep your ideas in one place. Once you have full boards, you start noticing a pattern in things you like.

Or, go to an online store and put everything you like in a shopping cart. Look at it all next to each other and see which things you like best.

thanks for the ideas. I think I also want my daughter to look like her age. some things look so grown up these days. they made stuff this past season so girly and cute and now they are moving in direction of no frills and I actually like the frilly stuff. a lot of things are straight cut. and I find it very serious looking for my daughter. I dont know if am explaining myself well. I had adorable stuff from gymboree , zulily, and I just dont know why they took them away. I dont like the new styles.

I know what I like, but I'm a very indecisive shopper so what I've found that helps me is when I see something that catches my eye, but I'm not 100% sure about it I think, "if I leave here now without buying this will I still want it when I get home?" I agree with Pinterest too. Browse pinterest before you go shopping to get an idea in your mind of styles and outfits you are looking for and like.

You are just figuring out your taste in little girl's clothes! Cut yourself a break! Get the clothes and when your taste changes give them to a friend and try again.

I tried a lot of styles on my first daughter and I have ended up enjoying p b and j dark blue or grey 3/4 sleeve lycra shells, sleeveless maxi dresses I get on sale from Hannah Anderson or Gymboree, and butterfly tights. I like this look because I never see skin on the stomache as the girls move and it is easy enough for them to dress themselves from a young age and mix and match the colors.

Button up shirts are much more challenging for a girl to dress herself in. I love the tights to hide if my youngest is wearing a diaper. These tights are so durable they last from one child to another.

If I find I have clothes we are not wearing right now due to my taste changing I give them to my very grateful friend.

Good luck!

I LOVE the jewelry on sale at Gymboree and that is also nice for the girls to dress themselves and also very durable.
