Any ideas of nice ways to spend time with my kids today? Activities in the house, out of the house, places to go? I live in northern nj. Thanx.

It's a beautiful day to be outside! Take them for a hike; that's what we're doing today. Google what's within a reasonable drive for you, pack food, water, sunscreen, bug spray, emergency stuff in a backpack or two, and enjoy.
Ditto for a family bike ride.
Hope you come up with something fun!

For indoor "down time", make a photo scrapbook with them. You can have pictures developed within an hr and buy supplies at Michael's
